Vikings: Valhalla, or simply Valhalla, acts as a sequel to Vikings, a historical drama series inspired by the sagas of Ragnar Lodbrok, a Viking who is one of the best-known legendary Norse heroes. Set more than 100 years after the events of Vikings, in England, tensions between the descendants of the Vikings and native English reach a bloody breaking point. The Norse also clash among themselves over conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs. Season 3 starts seven years after the end of Season 2. Freydis is now the leader of pagan Jomsborg. Leif and Harald have found success in Constantinople. However, new challenges await them as they strive to fulfill their destinies.

Featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem, Kakuda is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, whose horror comedy Munjya is already running successfully in theatres. Also a horror comedy, Kakuda is set in the village of Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s banner RSVP. The film revolves around a peculiar ritual that demands the opening of the smaller door of each house every Tuesday at 7.15 pm sharp. Failure to comply with this rule invites the wrath of Kakuda, who punishes the man of the house. But who is Kakuda? Why does he punish the men in the village? How will the villagers get rid of the curse?

Pill unravels the “deep-set rot in the Indian pharmaceutical industry”. Dr Prakash along with three whistle-blowers face a powerful pharma giant Forever Cure to expose the corrupt nexus of pharma, middlemen, and doctors through which a pill reaches the common man. Will the good be able to overcome the evil? Pill marks the series debut of actor Riteish Deshmukh. The show is created by Raj Kumar Gupta, best known for directing critically-acclaimed movies such as Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Raid. According to the makers, Pill presents a riveting tale of good versus evil through a whistleblower’s earnest fight against the dark and corrupt world of the pharmaceutical industry.

After Kalki 2898 AD, Kamal Haasan is all set to star in Indian 2, the sequel of the 1996 film Indian, which became the highest-grossing Tamil film upon its release. The film was selected as India’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film for the Academy Awards in 1996, but was not nominated. In Indian 2, the 69-year-old actor will reprise the role of Veerasekaran Senapathy, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante who fought against corruption in India. The film also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh and Kajal Aggarwal. Produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, the music is by Anirudh Ravichander. S Shankar is returning to direct the second part in the franchise.

Directed by Greg Berlanti (known for his work on series Dawson’s Creek, Brothers & Sisters, Everwood, Political Animals, Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), the romantic comedy-drama film also stars Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell and Christian Zuber, among others.
