West Ham vs Arsenal bet-builder tips
Bet builder tip 1: Both teams to score
The Gunners’ title hopes were rejuvenated with a 3-1 win over leaders Liverpool last weekend but a victory away to West Ham is no foregone conclusion with the Hammers already beating them twice this season.
It is for that reason that we have opted for both teams to score – a selection that would have landed in West Ham’s 3-1 triumph win over Mikel Arteta’s side in the EFL Cup at the London Stadium earlier in the term
The east London side have scored in all but two of their 16 home matches across all competitions this campaign and should do so again against an Arsenal side without a clean sheet in six of their past seven. At the other end of the pitch, the Gunners have fired in 10 in their previous three so goals are likely this afternoon
Bet builder tip 2: Bukayo Saka to score anytime
With goals expected, England star Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s prime candidate to find the net.
The Gunners’ top scorer grabbed his 11th of the campaign in his side’s impressive victory over Liverpool. That goal was his third in his past five games, which include him netting in his previous two appearances away from home.
West Ham conceded three at Manchester United last week and showed a vulnerability at the back. We expect Saka to exploit that and add to his impressive tally this season.
Bet builder tip 3: Over seven corners
The final selection in our bet builder focuses on the corner count as we back more than seven in the game.
Arsenal have won more corners than any other side in the Premier League this season, averaging 7.6 per game themselves. Matches involving the Gunners average 10.2 corners while for West Ham that figure is 9.9 – so over seven should register with little issue.
Over seven corners is a selection that would have landed in six of Arsenal’s past seven games as well as the two meetings between these two sides earlier this season, so is a safe selection for our bet builder.
