The MGA's First Virtual Championship Tees off Dec. 9

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 20, 2023) — The MGA will conduct its first-ever championship on simulators on Saturday, December 9 with the MGA Virtual Interclub Championship Powered by Golfzon in which competitors have the opportunity to win incredible prizes. The competition will take place at Golfzon Social in the Palisades Mall, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start across all simulators.

The championship brings together two-person teams of one professional and one amateur from the same MGA club for an 18-hole, four-ball (gross) competition. Players will compete virtually on 2023 Ryder Cup venue Marco Simone Golf and Country Club on Golfzon’s industry leading TwoVision simulators. 

Prizes will be awarded to the top-10 teams, with the first-place team winning a Golfzon TwoVision simulator for their home club or facility. The first-place individuals will also win a David Leadbetter Experience, with travel and accommodations included, plus a Golfzon Wave portable launch monitor. Additional prizes include a Troon event Pro-Am experience, more Golfzon Waves, golf in the Met Area, Troon gift cards and much more.

The $100 entry fee includes a tee gift, food and beverage throughout championship day, and a practie round. The championship will have a limited field of 30 two-person teams.
