How does the NBA All-Star voting process work?

Between Dec. 19 and Jan. 20, fans voted on the starters for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.

The fan vote accounts for 50 percent of the vote to determine the All-Star Game starters. Current players and a media panel split the other 50 percent. The All-Star ballot includes two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference. Fans were able to submit one ballot each day.

Reserves for the All-Star Game will be chosen by the NBA’s head coaches. Commissioner Adam Silver will choose any necessary injury replacements.
