Gibraltar’s boys basketball team snapped a nine-game losing streak in Thursday’s 66-30 Packerland Conference home victory over Sevastopol.
The Vikings, who jumped out to a 40-15 halftime advantage, were led by Braden Sitte and Liam Lindenberg with 20 points apiece. Lindenberg made five three-pointers.
Lucas Delsart led the Pioneers with 13 points.
Gibraltar, which defeated Sevastopol for the second time this season to improve to 2-11 in the conference and 4-14 overall, plays a non-conference game Saturday afternoon at St. Lawrence Seminary before Tuesday’s contest at Packerland leader Southern Door.
Sevastopol (0-12, 2-17) plays a non-conference game Saturday afternoon in Oshkosh against Laona-Wabeno before hosting a Packerland game Tuesday against Kewaunee.
